Bower Birds

Like big fat aerial rats they hopped around on the ground eating the snow peas... jumping and munching. They scattered when I opened the window but only to the perimeter of the garden.I could see them sitting and waiting... once one came back they all came back. Mostly the big brown/green ladies... but also some brilliant blue black juvenile bloke birds too. Not interested in the snow peas themselves... just wanting the lush green tips and leaves.
